Before the earthquake in Nepal


For many years I've had an epal in Nepal who takes the most beautiful photos. I've put some of them on this blog from time to time.

He is OK, and so is his wife, who gave birth to a baby boy the day before the earthquake.

Yes, Winifred, wind is terrifying.  When those dreadful storms were lashing UK and France a bit over a year ago, the niece of one of my French friends was killed when a tree fell on her car.

And yes, the only thing to do is think positive re the terrorists. I don't think we should give them so much publicity. More women are killed by their husbands/partners than by terrorists. That's where our money and security should be going.
