We were lucky to get that sunny day last week, as now we are back to day after day of rain. You British folk would feel right at home in Australia now! There are floods all over the place, though fortunately we are not affected here, but I do feel for the poor devils who have had to move out of their inundated homes. Our biggest problem is having to pump out the pool every now and then so it doesn't overflow.
In the whole of summer we had only two hot, sunny days. This was a first for me.

Yes, Lina, I did feel for that poor little lamb as I gobbled him up! It's horrible to eat animals!!!! Though I have to admit it was delicious.
Poor baby Hugo has been in hospital for two nights and days, with gastroenteritis. This pic shows the new emergency centre and paediatric unit, which Philip says is first class. It's only a few minutes from home, so we are very fortunate.
6pm News - It's the worst flood event EVER, with 75% of NSW (an area the size of France)
affected. Oh golly!

Oh dear! this is really bad news, I have not heard anything on the BBC news but then I haven't been watching these last few days as our media is full of the hacking of the phones of the famous and I am fed up of hearing about it. Surely everyone knew that Murdoch is a rogue so why are they acting so surprised now?
I hope poor little Hugo is safely home by now, it is such a serious thing he has but children pop up again very quickly usually and thankfully.
I have had a bad toothache this week and am having an extraction this morning - perhaps I should call at the bank on the way and take out a mortgage! xx
